MISSION FOCUSED
ACAC is committed to the inclusion and enhancement of culinary arts excellence for all members in the community. This unique public private partnership will create a social enterprise that creates learning opportunities for the community, and forging connections for emerging food concepts in Anacostia.
The ACAC encapsulates our mission. It denotes a gathering of people, curation, and collection of art, food and culture . We will use Agricultural and food technology that challenges the way we grow, cultivate, cook, and consume our food, helping alleviate health issues such as diabetes, food allergies, obesity, and even hunger.
What We Do
The Anacostia Culinary Arts Center (ACAC) is an innovative culinary hub that offers a unique blend of dining, learning, and educational experiences in the heart of Washington D.C. Our center is designed to provide a dynamic space where food entrepreneurs, chefs, and culinary enthusiasts can come together to create, learn, and grow.
Our state-of-the-art culinary program kitchen is equipped with a range of services, including light food manufacturing and non-competing restaurant products, rooftop dining, revenue-generating incubator space, and flexible monthly and weekly rentals. We also offer food truck rentals, farmers market stall rentals, and fresh greens sourced from our very own vertical farm, specifically cultivated for use in our restaurants.
In addition to these exciting services, we're proud to offer subscription meal kit deliveries for Ward 7 & 8, bringing our unique culinary creations straight to your doorstep. At the Anacostia Culinary Arts Center, we're passionate about food and committed to fostering a vibrant culinary community in our nation's capital.Â
