Meet The Founder

Kendra-Nicole Stephens, a Howard University graduate, resident for over 25 years and homeowner in Historic Anacostia. Ms. Stephens has over 20 years of experience in the culinary arts starting with her first company, Claudette’s Cookies in 1999. Further enhancing her love for the culinary arts, Ms. Stephens honed her skills in New York and Paris before taking on her role as Sr. Executive Pastry Chef and Kitchen Manager at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, Restaurant Associates. For over 7 years, her exceptional talent was experienced by national and internationally renowned clientele and artists from around the world.

Additional experience was obtained as a Sr. Chef Network Manager for a food tech startup company. In this capacity, she was responsible for assisting local chefs and restaurants grow their businesses which included acting as a liaison between Fortune 500 companies and chefs. Effective food costs and menu development were also a requirement for this position. Her proven ability to manage and execute the daily demands of this magnitude and an interest in giving back to the community led to her success in this role.
